I’ve done a lot of shopping lately and the best part wasn’t the after-Christmas sales but the fact that size 10 (equivalent to US size 6) was too big and so I bought size 8 clothing and S and XS clothes. It is really, really pathetic that it made me happy.

I worked so hard to get my family presents and none of them even said thank you. I don’t care if they don’t like them or they re-gift them I just wanted a thank you. The first thing my Mum did when she opened her present was complain about the colour of the shoes I got her. And then my Dad just said ‘Oh, it’s nice…’ when he opened his and my sister didn’t...
